Thank you for a pleasant stay, greatly enjoyed it. This place was straightforward and the staff was helpful and affable. I had relaxing, brand-new room with horrific mattress, a kettle and vey comfortable bed, had good night's sleep.

Convenient location with lots of restaurants and bars nearby 🍽️. It's also a quick walk from a subway station in a nice part of town.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Effective air conditioning. Had a fridge in the room which was great for water and juice. Interior of building, so no traffic noise despite being on a busy street. The location is very central and near the nightlife of Malasana, Chueca and Puerto del Sol without being in the thick of it. Also near all main tourist attractions and on 2 useful metro lines.
Bad smell from the bathroom, which waxed and waned. Not bad enough to stop us sleeping but noisy plumbing particularly at peak water use time and during the night, and the usual thin walls so you can hear next room snores! Would be nice to have access to drinking water, but helpful staff let us wash some fruit in their kitchen! Lift a bit temperamental but again staff showed us the "knack", necessary as the hostal is on the 6th floor!

It was in a great location and the staff was helpful (although only speak Spanish). It was perfect for us to hop on th metro and get anywhere in the city - especially back to the airport it was only 40 minutes. We had our own bathroom, which isn't always the case in budget hotels. I would stay there again.
Only thing was it was hard to find (no large sign outside) so we passed by a couple of times, but then all was fine. It was in an apartment building. But now that I know where it is, I would stay again.

Located in nice part of Madrid & was cheap. Good to have fridge & TV in room & was kept spotlessly clean. Also able to use internet on Hostal's PC & reluctantly agreed to 1 print. I had problems accessing their wifi using my laptop.
On return visit of 1 night had different room. TV was not working but immediately installed a box to give signal. Also no light in WC but again immediately fixed. Problems remained with the AC. Would have preferred better knowledge of English with their staff.

Great location, close to major attractions and public transportation. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even when my Spanish failed me. They made me feel welcome and ensured my needs were met. The room was clean and tidy, providing a comfortable space to relax after a long day of exploring.
There were a few drawbacks to my stay. The room could use some updating, as the furniture was a bit worn and some paint was peeling off the walls.

The hotel's elegant interior decoration and comfortable seating areas made me feel right at home. As a senior, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, with wide hallways and elevators available. It was a joy to navigate through the hotel without any obstacles or stairs to climb.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in catering to the needs of senior guests.
